The IF-FFS3 is a heavy-duty foam crushing machine designed to reduce polyurethane foam scrap into small, uniform particles (crumb). It uses a rotating drum with sharp blades to tear and shred foam pieces into the desired particle size. The crumb passes through a screen that controls the maximum particle size, ensuring consistent output.

View Product →The crushing process is simple and efficient. Foam scrap is fed into the hopper at the top of the machine. A rotating drum with hardened steel blades catches the foam and tears it against fixed counter-blades. The crushed foam falls through a screen at the bottom of the drum. Screen size determines the final particle diameter, typically from 5mm to 30mm.
The crushed crumb exits through a chute and can be collected in bags, bins, or conveyed directly to the next process (such as a rebonding machine or packing station). The IF-FFS3 operates at a throughput of 200-500 kg per hour, depending on foam density and desired particle size.
